A Letter from Our Founder

Perfume has always been a part of my life—not just as something to wear, but something to create. My family's factory produced fragrances for some of the biggest luxury houses in the world. We'd make a scent for $40, and by the time it hit department store shelves, it was selling for $400. Same ingredients, same formulation—just a different bottle and a fancier story.

That never sat right with me.

Perfume should be about the scent itself—the artistry, the quality of the ingredients, the way it makes you feel. Not overpriced branding, not glossy ads, and definitely not a celebrity's name on the box.

That's why I started Serious Elephant. We make fragrances the way they should be made: with the best raw materials, expert craftsmanship, and honest pricing. No middlemen, no absurd markups—just great perfume.

We know exactly what goes into luxury perfumes because we've made them. The jasmine in our bottles? The same one used in those designer scents. The bergamot? Still sourced from the same fields. The difference? We don't charge you for the marketing fluff.
